Banobagi Plastic Surgery - Before Surgery
Hi readers, the long finally awaited post - PLASTIC SURGERY
Actually, i've been contemplating whether to post this for a very long time. Because despite us being in the 21st century now, plastic surgery is still a very taboo subject and why do i say so, because i've been asking random people about their opinions whether i should do plastic surgery or not, and 90% of the people i asked said no, and gave me that very painful and disgusted kind of look. (But they wouldn't understand the feeling of being insecure in a relationship, having no money, friends etc because of your looks - so it's alright)
I'm just 24 this year, and many of my modelling friends as well as people who work in nightlife, mostly 90% had undergone plastic surgery, fillers/botox or embroidery in that sense. In that sense, nobody is really "natural" nowadays, but the fact is that they are really really pretty, and when you're really really pretty, people treat you very differently. This world is very realistic, because i have been ugly before and i know how that feels. Not to mention about socializing skills, yes, you can be ugly and have lots of friends, but to be realistic, this world is very practical, especially in the modelling industry and the world of the rich, everything is about looks (mainly) and connections. And i do not want to just be a normal person, get a normal job, get a normal life and then just work 8-5 and die.
I know most people who undergone plastic surgery would normally deny that they have undergone surgery, especially celebrities and majority of the common people, but i don't see why you shouldn't share and be open about it, because probably somewhere in the world, there will be a girl just like the old you, who is having a sad life, and thinking of doing plastic surgery. To me, plastic surgery is not just about enhancing your looks, but your confidence and changing your whole life. It is also not as simple as it seems. For people who have no knowledge about plastic surgery, they would think there's only botox, fillers, nose, eyes etc. But there are actually different procedures based on the technology nowadays, such as thread-lifting (non-surgical) and lifting your face to remain youthful, and also whitening jabs and stuff. And even if you do rhinoplasty, there's many kinds of rhinoplasty, not just cutting your whole nose down and putting a new one, because technology is so advanced nowadays, that's a lot of procedures and you can look really natural, just that, you have to do A LOT of homework and research and ask around, especially people who have done surgery before, because i'm sure that they will be willing to help. And the recovery process, it's the worse of all, because having a positive mindset is the most important thing of all.
So, why do i sound as if i know so much, because friends around me have spend 10-20k to change their whole face. Of course you have to do research properly, or else 10-20k isn't enough too.
This is my picture when i was young, around primary school. No puberty, no pimples, no braces, no embroidery, all natural. But then as i grew older, my jaw shifted, my lower jaw shifted outwards and to the side. And of course, i'm not going to show you my old picture. In fact, i have no obligation to blog about it, like i could just deny, and say my looks change when i grow up. But i feel that it is a sort of embracing my old self, and the fact that i have become prettier, it is a good thing.
Something like this, but worse, my lower jaw was shifting to the left or right side. And after undergoing braces for 3 years, plucking out 6 tooth, i undergone wisdom teeth surgery and lower jaw surgery and i finally got normal. The recovery process was tough, i had to tie my teeth together and for one month i could only go on liquid diet and drink soup, and smell food when my friends purposely go for buffet and stuff, my face swell like a pig head, and when i came out of the surgery, i blacked out for the first time because i fasted for many hours before the surgery, it was damn shitty, the whole experience. After that, my face slowly slimmed down, and i joined modelling in 2013, pageants, events, modelling jobs, one after another. Alot of people felt that i have the potential after that.
And this is me after my first jaw surgery, with makeup in 2013. My mom spend around 10k i suppose. She didn't really keep track the amount for braces and jaw surgery and just kept paying, i guess a mother's love is unconditional. This time, i've decided that i want to do this again even though many people persuaded me not to, because surgery carries a risk, and everyone keeps telling me i'm greedy because i'm already pretty now, but i guess i'm just a perfectionist, all or nothing at all. And after my mom paid for my degree as well as my first surgery, it's not really logical to ask her to pay for me again. Most kids go to university and completing with a loan to the bank or owing their parents debt, but my mom just paid everything for me, and the best gift of all is education, so i think i'm quite blessed already.
So, when i just started my blog last year, i was approached to be an embroidery model, till now i've done almost every embroidery process that you can ever do, and i'm still not satisfied with myself. My sister happened to screenshot me that Banobagi was looking for models for surgery and the dateline then was Sept 2016. I'm a person who procastinates a lot, and at that period exams was more important, finishing my degree was so much more important than looking pretty, so i just screenshot the page and left it in my facebook album as usual, till this year January during the holidays i decided to try my luck again, since the dateline was over. And Banobagi replied me. Due to the fact that i've done jaw surgery before, it's quite hard to do a huge major transformation to my face
Like this.
But i mean, one shouldn't be greedy either. Plastic surgery is a bet in life, so this time i'm very happy because i've been promised a rhinoplasty, fat grafting, and probably a cheek reduction (which i feel is going to be very painful, that will be confirmed after the CT scan). Honestly, i'm a little scared because the other time i did surgery it was in Singapore and i swear it was the worst time of my life, i was so depressed everyday for a month and i got really thin (despite the fact i had to undergo liquid diet), but after i became prettier, the swelling subsided, my life changed for the better too. So i guess, sometimes to get success and good things, you have to endure the bottom rock first.
So, everything have been prepared, my flight tickets, and all, this is kind of like a reward for myself after graduation and i've been so looking forward to this. Stay tuned to my blog and instagram live for more updates in Korea! I'm going to Korea alone, yay.
I really look i can look like my goddess and gain more confidence after this trip. For more information about plastic surgery, before and after pictures from 'let me in' banobagi

If you're undergoing plastic surgery too, or planning to do it, let me know, it'll be nice to know that i have someone who's in the same boat as me. But who knows, after the transformation everything will change. Probably the classmates that use to bully you in secondary school will suddenly become nice to you, life is unpredictable, because i have experienced it all.
